Thanks for visiting my profile.

Since I was a teenager I have loved photographing and in particular I liked photographing people in their places, their expressions and in their beautiful but also difficult moments. A sort of street photography but in particular focused on the portrait.

Like so many others, I grew up with analog film photography and it still represents 40% of my work today. I still have about ten analogue cameras that have made the story of my passion and which I continue to use.

I have been traveling the world for over 30 years and therefore I can say that I grew up self-taught, I consider myself someone who takes photographs and not a photographer. Traveling a lot, the only thing that helped me in this passion was the collaboration with many photographers from all over the world and this allowed me to learn different techniques and also different visions and cultures of photography.

My artistic research has developed around people, in particular I am attracted by the beauty of the human body in all its expressions and forms, but to enhance this beauty I study a lot of light in all its details.

I find my inspiration in art, past and also contemporary art, or in the history of great photographers before each shot because it helps me define my goal, even if it is not always easy to do so.

Learn by doing and never give up.
